McPherson, Kan. – 17 spring transfers and 19 freshmen have signed up to join the McPherson College 2012 football team.  These signees are coming to the program from five different states including Mississippi and California with 16 athletes from Kansas as well.
 
The Bulldog football staff brought in one of the biggest classes of recruits that MC has seen. 
 
“We started the semester by bringing in the largest group of spring transfers that we have had since I’ve been here,” said Mike Silva, Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Football Coach for McPherson.  “We’ve also never had this many freshmen sign on National Signing Day, and I’m glad that we were able to sign a lot of in-state high school players as well.”
 
These student-athletes will be the building blocks for the McPherson College football program for years to come.
