Salina, Kan. – The McPherson College women’s tennis team dropped a close match to Concordia College this past Saturday at Oakdale Park in Salina. The Lady Bulldogs were able to secure two of the doubles points and looked to get three of the four singles matches to secure a win for McPherson. However, Concordia was able to rally after their disappointing doubles play to take two of the four singles matches to defeat McPherson 5-4.
Senior
Wrylie Finkle (Wichita, Kan.) went perfect on the day winning in both singles and doubles.
The Lady Bulldogs will face crosstown rival Central Christian College this coming Thursday, March 29 at McPherson High School. Play is set to begin at 4:30pm.
