Box Score McPherson, Kan. – A 2-1 scoreline is how the MC vs. Briar Cliff University match concluded on Saturday with the 'Dogs on top. The other accomplishment of the day was awarded to Mac coach Robert Talley as he picked up his 50
th win of as a head coach; Talley is 43-39-12 at McPherson and logged the other seven wins while coaching at York College.
"I'd like to thank all of my current and former players at McPherson and York for playing hard and helping me achieve this goal," said Talley. "I'd also like to personally thank [McPherson College Athletic Director] Doug Quint for believing in me as a coach and giving me the opportunity to inspire young ladies to strive for success in this beautiful game"
In the match on Saturday, BCU got on the board with a corner kick late in the first half to head into the locker room up 1-0. MC was denied a goal earlier in the match as a strong shot was shot back by the crossbar.
The second period was all McPherson as they controlled every facet of the game. Just a few minutes into the half,

For the game, Mac outshot the Chargers 24-21 and put 11 on frame.
The Bulldogs and Coach Talley won't get long to savor their triumph as they must now focus on tomorrow's match against the 3-0-1 Morningside Mustangs; start time is 1:00 p.m. (CT) on the McPherson College grass pitch.
