Ottawa, Kan. – Much like a lot of McPherson's games this season, it was one that came down to the wire. Unfortunately for Mac, on Thursday it was the home team Braves that came out triumph by a score of 65-61. The 'Dogs slide to 9-10 on the year and sit at 2-5 in the conference.
"I'm proud of our effort tonight," said head men's basketball coach Tim Swartzendruber. "We came back and had the lead late. Unfortunately, we didn't make free throws and had some critical turnovers down the stretch."
Due to technical errors, statistics are not available at this time.
Mac will need to rebound quickly as they stay on the road for their next contest which is scheduled for this Saturday, January 18; Bulldog basketball travels to Lindsborg, Kansas to square off against Bethany College for a 7:00 p.m. (CT) showdown with JV commencing at 3:00
