Wichita, Kan. – The top-seeded McPherson College women's tennis team made quick work of Kansas Wesleyan University on Friday in the semifinals of the 2016 KCAC Women's Tennis Championships; the Lady Bulldogs won 5-2.
Mac won all the doubles points by a combined score of 24-8. The freshman combo of Lea Striegel and Zoe Bouwmeester won the No. 1 spot 8-4. Nikki Vorhees and Deiah Curtis took the No. 2 point 8-3. The duo of Nikki Thornburg and Nadine Baquiran walked to an 8-1 victory at No. 3.
The Lady Coyotes tightened things up in the singles, winning the top two points. Fortunately, McPherson's Bouwmeester and Thornburg won the No. 3 and No. 4 positions, respectively to clinch the match for MC.

The Bulldogs will take on Ottawa University on Saturday starting at 2:00 p.m. (CT) in Wichita, Kansas; the location of the match will be based on tomorrow's weather.
