The Eagles (0-4), who will join the Bulldogs in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference next season, held a 14-13 edge in shots overall and had a 5-4 advantage in shots on goal. McPherson did in corner kicks with six to Avila's two.
Guerrero and Avila's Alexis Sanchez each had a game-high four shots.
