McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College volleyball team put on another dominating display on Thursday night, dropping the Bethel College Threshers on straight sets, in front of the home faithful at the Sport Center.
It was another efficient performance from the Bulldogs, who are now 9-4 overall, and 6-2 in KCAC play. The match lasted just over an hour and had a total of just 114 points. The Bulldogs took set 1, 25-11 and then sets two and three by identical scores of 25-14.
The Bulldogs were firing on all cylinders, in all aspects of the game. Offensively the Bulldogs put up gawdy numbers. As a team they hit .314 with 42 kills on 95 attempts and 12 errors. On Bethel's attack, the Bulldogs dug up the ball 47 times and at the net the terminated the point with a block seven times.

The Bulldogs served tough all night against the Threshers. They finished the match with 11 service aces.

Next Up
Originally, the Bulldogs were supposed to square off against Bethany College Swedes this Saturday at the Sport Center, but that match has been postponed. Now the Bulldogs' next match date will be November 14, on the road in a triangular with Avila University and York College, in Kansas City, Mo.
