Wichita, Kan. – It was a tough night for the McPherson College men's soccer team, falling on the road, 2-1, to a talented Friends University Falcons side. Â
Things started out on a positive note, the Bulldogs opened the scoring in the 30
th minute of the opening half. (Sr.)

Carlos Reyna and played a quality ball past the Falcon goal keeper. The Bulldogs held the Falcons for the remainder of the half, and went into the intermission up 1-0.
The Bulldogs appeared to open the second half a little fatigued, while the Falcons who hadn't played a game in a week, looked like the fresher of the two sides. In the 51

Colby Swift made a brilliant save on a hard and low shot to his right. Unfortunately, he was unable to secure the ball, and on the rebound, the Falcons were able to slot the equalizer. The Bulldogs worked to retake the lead, but in the 73
rd minute it was the Falcons who would break the tie.
Swift faced nine total shots on goal, coming away with seven saves.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 9-4 overall, and 6-2 in KCAC play. They will be back at home this Saturday, taking on Southwestern College in a 3:00 pm match at Paul Family Field. Prior to the game, the Bulldogs will recognize their seniors as part of Senior Day.
