In the semi-finals the Bulldogs squared off against 3rd seeded Tabor College. The Bluejays knocked off Oklahoma Wesleyan in the quarters, in straight sets, setting up the rematch with the Bulldogs. There was a lot riding on Friday's match, a trip to the KCAC tournament finals, but more importantly automatic bid to the NAIA national tournament.
Knowing what was at stake, the Bulldogs came out on the attack, locked in and ready to play. They jumped out to an early lead in the opening set, and rode that lead to a win, 25-20. They followed that up with a decisive win in the second set by an eight point margin, 25-17.

 Coach Quote
"Today was a great day, an incredible step forward for our program. It was a team effort in both matches. We passed well enough for our offense to run smoothly and efficiently. We took care of the ball from the service line and passed nails. It was a ton of fun and we look forward to getting another shot at Ottawa tomorrow." - Cory Cahill
