Overland Park, Kan. – The McPherson College men's basketball team moved to 3-0 on the season, going on the road for the first time this season, and defeating Kansas Christian College 92-79.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back. They pushed the lead out to double digits early in the first half, and then road that to a 22 point lead at the break, 54-32. In the second half, the Bulldog bench player got to log some valuable minutes. The Falcons would ultimately win the half 47-38, but the damage had been done in the first 20 minutes of action.
Seventeen Bulldogs saw at least 6 minutes of action against the Falcons, and 15 of those 17 found their way into the scoring column.

Rebounding was the key for the Bulldogs against the Falcons. They out-rebounded the Falcons 53 to 31, and recorded 21 offensive rebounds that led to 21 points.

 The Bulldogs get some time off, before hitting the hardwood again. Their next competition is a week from Friday when they go on the road to play in the Holiday Inn Express Tip-off Classic hosted by Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. The Bulldogs will play the host school on Friday at 7:00 pm.    Â
