The Bulldogs' defense came up big by forcing the Builder's to turn the ball over on downs early in the contest.

The Builder's answered, going 80 yards on just five plays which was capped off by a 44-yard touchdown pass. Things were pretty quiet in the second quarter offensively for the Bulldogs, who seemed to be playing perfectly by forcing a safety and an interception by #27
Troy Wiseman. It wasn't until the panthers' last drive that an offensive point was scored in the second half. The bulldog offense seemed unable to muster anything in the second half. Bulldogs lead at half, 16-14.
The Bulldogs came out of the locker room ready to play and went 92 yards in 17 plays to score a touchdown to give them the first lead of the game, 20-16. After this, the defense seemed to pick up where it left off in the second quarter, only allowing a field goal for the rest of the game.
After the field goal in the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs' offense started showing signs of life, going 75 yards on just nine plays. Thirty-five yards were on one play where #4 Jonathan white seemed to break free again just to be brought down on the Builders 49 yard-line. The drive was capped off by a 4-yard touchdown pass to #15 Camron Mayshaw Jr., putting them within one with a PAT attempt still to be kicked. However, the bulldogs miss the field goal attempt leaving them down by only one point.
The defense did their job by forcing a three and out with over 4 minutes to go. The Bulldogs are held to only 23 yards in 5 plays forcing them to turn the ball over in downs sealing the deal for the #6 Builders. The Bulldogs lose by one 22-23. This is the third time this season the bulldogs have fallen by one.
