                     Bowling Green, KY - The McPherson College Volleyball team started their season with dominance at the Mid-South Tournament. The Bulldogs faced off against Point University and Union College on Friday, August 19th before facing the University of Pikeville and University of the Cumberlands on Saturday, August 20th.
The Bulldogs started hot and never looked back. McPherson did not lose a single set in each of its four matches during the tournament. Multiple Bulldogs contributed towards the victories this weekend both offensively and defensively. Picked second in the preseason Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference poll, the Bulldogs showed unity and poise to start the season.

Cory Cahill had this to say about the performance this weekend - "This weekend was a great start. We played poised with big moments from different players all weekend. It was a total team effort from start to finish."
Key Statistic
Cynarah Rodriquez reached a career milestone with her 2,000th career assist in the first match against Point University. The junior from Amarillo, Texas becomes just the second player in McPherson program history to reach the 2,000 career assist mark.
