Box Score 1 Seward, NE - The McPherson Bulldogs came up short at the Concordia Tournament. The Bulldogs fell short in each match over the weekend against tough competition.
In the first match of the tournament against Concordia University, the Bulldogs were swept in three sets. The first two sets of the match did not have the offensive intensity the Bulldogs were looking for. In set three of the match, the offense began clicking, but the set still fell 25-23 in favor of Concordia.
In match two of the tournament, the Bulldogs battled Texas Wesleyan University falling in five sets. The Bulldogs battled hard during this match but fell just short in the fifth set with a score of 15-12.
In the third and final match of the tournament, the Bulldogs face The College of Saint Mary and fell short of the victory in four sets. Another offensive battle, the squad was competitive battled throughout the match.
The Bulldogs are back in action on September 2nd at 5:00 against Grand Valley University at the GoSarpy.com Labor Day Classic.
