Bulldog soccer teams both end in a draw against the Spires

The Bulldogs had a quick start against the Spires with a 1-0 lead with the goal coming from Mya Gildon.  In the 47th minute the Spires tie the match but soon after Caitlin Buendia puts the bulldogs ahead.  Spires score in the 70th minute to make the final score 2-2.

Bulldogs are now 0-1-2 in confrence play their next game will be this Saturday (Sep 24) against Avila University at 12:00 PM in Kansas City, MO



Five minutes into game play the Bulldogs and Spires had to pause competition for a lightning delay but in 30 minutes resumed play. After the Spires received a red card Jakob Betzing scored for the Bulldogs making it 1-0 at the end of the half.  Unfortunately for the Bulldogs the Spires score in the in the 88th minute leaving almost no time for the Bulldogs to answer.

The Bulldogs head into Saturday (Sept. 24) 1-0-1 in conference play ready to play Avila University in Kansas City, MO at 2:30 PM
