The Bulldog men's soccer team was able to outlast the Avila eagles in a road conference matchup Saturday afternoon. Both teams defenses were stout and Mcpherson even had two different goalkeepers Aidan Pham, and
Camden Wiseman picked up saves as part of the effort. However Bulldogs Midfielder
Gabe Porras was able to break through with the 3rd goal of his junior campaign in the 74th minute to break the tie. This proved to bve the game winner as neither side was able to get into the scoring column and time expired with a Mcpherson win 1-0. With the win Mcpherson moves to 4-3-1 on the season, still undefeated in KCAC play with a record of 2-0-1. With the loss Avila falls to 2-6-0 with a 0-3 mark in conference play.
