HILLSBORO, Kan. — The McPherson College women's tennis team opened their KCAC season with a 7-0 sweep of the Tabor College Bluejays Monday (Mar. 27) in Hillsboro, Kan.
The Bulldogs took care of business early, taking the doubles point with each duo winning 6-1.
Vanessa Hofer got singles started with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Fiorella Villa, then a 6-0, 6-1 victory by Kayla Ortiz made it a 3-0 Bulldog lead. Camila Sanchez wrapped it up by taking down Tara Stewart.
