McPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson College Bulldogs women's tennis team picked up a win over the Sterling College Warriors Thursday (Apr. 13) at the Bulldog Tennis Center.
Sanchez/Ortiz got the Bulldogs off to a good start with a 6-1 victory, but the Warriors grabbed the doubles points with a narrow win by Carlson/Anderson 7-5.
Camila Sanchez and Grace Maxey put the Bulldogs on top with a pair of quick wins in singles, then Vanessa Hofer took down Camila Castro after dropping the first set. Kayla Ortiz sealed the win for the Bulldogs, winning 6-3, 7-5.
