McPHERSON, Kan. — The Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes netted seven goals Wednesday (Sep. 20) to take down the McPherson College Bulldogs at McPherson Stadium.
The Coyotes scored just 95 seconds into the contest and didn't slow down, finding the back of the net again in the seventh minute. But KWU was not done in the first half, scoring once again with 12 seconds left in the first half.
Kansas Wesleyan tacked on four more in the second frame.
The Coyotes outshot the Bulldogs 30-3 with a 17-2 advantage on-goal. Olivia Rodriguez and Lauren Machado each put one shot on target.
The Bulldogs travel to Bartlesville, Okla., to take on No. 5-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
