McPHERSON, Kan. — The Bulldogs were unable to muster up any consistent offense in their home finale as they fell in their home finale to the visiting Ottawa University Braves on Saturday afternoon (Oct 26), 3-1.
It was a difficult day for the MC offense as they were only able to generate a pair of shots on goal in the contest, both of which were saved. The first came in the 30th minute from
Lorenzo Orlandi with the second coming in the 73rd minute courtesy of
Abdul Kanu. Despite the three goals given up, Keito Takehara had a strong showing with 10 saves made.
Three different Braves put the goals on the board for them. In the 6th minute, Bence Molnar got the scoring started. Cale Scott added onto the lead in the 53rd minute followed by a Dion Klaassen goal in the 85th minute.
