LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – The McPherson College women's cross country team finished 10
th at the KCAC Championships Saturday.
St. Mary won the KCAC Championships with 15 points. Kansas Wesleyan took second with 57 points while Evangel was third with 95 points. Tabor (110 points) and Friends (180 points) concluded the top five teams.
The Bulldogs were led by
Amari Robb's time of 28:02.29. Her time was good enough for 43
rd place.
Johanna Walker took 59
th after crossing in 31:31.66, edging
Charity Williams by just two-hundredths of a second. Williams was 60
th with a time of 31:31.68.
Kamryn Nolan accounted for a mark of 32:55.06 for 67
th place.
Two spots behind Nolan was Alexis Wolfe. She secured a time of 33:14.22.
Stephanie Howell (38:52.42) was 85
th at the championship.
McPherson totaled 298 points at the 6k event in the 13-team field.
The Bulldogs return to action Friday, Nov. 22 at the NAIA National Championships in Columbia, Mo.
