How it Happened
Kansas Wesleyan came out on the attack early, firing off four quick shots and ringing one off the crossbar. Goalkeeper Emily Singletary came up big with a pair of early saves, but the Coyotes broke through in the 32nd minute when Kendall Davis headed in a free kick. Singletary added her fifth save of the half just before the break to keep the Bulldogs within one.

The Coyotes doubled their advantage in the 58th minute, converting a penalty kick following a handball inside the box from the Bulldogs. Less than ten minute later, the Bulldogs answered as Ayden Jones cut the deficit in half. Jones took a touch around a defender and ripped a shot from outside the box into the upper corner, leaving the Coyotes' keeper with no chance.

Unable to find an equalizer, McPherson fell to Kansas Wesleyan 2-1 in their final road match of the regular season.
