SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Bulldogs wrapped up their 2024-25 campaign in the Lone Star State over the course of last week (Mar. 16-Mar.23) as they took on the ACU National competition.  

This year, the Bulldogs made a jump to facing off against Division II competition compared to last season when they took on Division III opponents. In the sport shooting competition, the Bulldogs finished off with a score of 342, which placed the team in 19th place. Tate Brewer put up the most total points for MC, putting up a score of 73 points. He was supported by the strong showings from Dominic Leech and Zachary Hawley, who scored 71 points and 70 points respectively.

In the trap shooting event, the Bulldogs scored 460 total points to finish in 17th place. Leech put in another strong showing for MC, leading the squad with 97 points scored. Hawley along with Riley Sojka both scored 92 points while Laci Turner also put in a strong showing with a total of 90 points.
