The Basics

Team Placement: 23rd Place out of 55 Teams
Day One
The Bulldogs finished the first day of the tournament in 11
th place out of 32 teams on A squad; they would finish 19
th overall out of the 55 total teams that were competing at the Stardust Bowl. Their five-person team game scores were 930, 887, 977, 952, and 828 for a day one total of 4,574.
Veronyca West, a junior from Lewisville, Texas, was the high individual finisher for the Bulldogs finishing 22
nd out of approximately 360 players. West would finish with games of 233, 202, 184, 224, 166 for a total of 1009 averaging 201.8 for her 5 games.
Day Two
Day two of the tournament featured 4-game baker set totals of 642, 754, 673, 737; this would bring McPherson's two-day total pinfall to 7,380. This put the Bulldogs in a 14
th place finish out of 32 teams on A squad and 23
rd overall out of 55 teams.
According to head coach Mitchell Whitehead, the Bulldogs' biggest drawback from the weekend was their inability to find spares when they were needed. After strong showings from their previous tournaments, Whitehead remains optimistic with his young squad heading into their next tournament.

The Bulldogs will compete in the NAIA West Invitational hosted in Lawrence, Kansas at the Royal Crest Lanes; their meet in Kansas City hosted by Avila University was canceled due to the storms that took across the United States. They'll begin bowling at 9:15 AM on February 7
th.
