McPherson, Kan – Following their series win over the Ottawa Braves, the Bulldogs hosted the Tabor College Bluejays to round out their season-long series. McPherson had defeated Tabor 4-3 in their first matchup of the season but were stunned on the road in Hillsboro when they were beaten 24-9 back in late March; this matchup would decide the series.

How it Happened
This would be the final home game of the season for the Bulldogs, with a great crowd on hand at Bulldog Park.
The Bluejays opened up the scoring in the opening inning after Jared Mack drove in Easton Norris on an RBI double for the 1-0 lead over the Bulldogs. McPherson matched the visitors' run with
Marcus Patton's RBI single in the bottom half of the first, leveling the ballgame at 1-1.
From this point on, Tabor began to find just about everything to go their way. The Bluejays would score nine unanswered runs through the next three innings played, stretching all the way to a 10-1 towering lead over the Bulldogs.
Will Sevier ended the scoreless drought in the bottom of the fourth with
Will Sevier scoring on a passed ball to earn back a run.
Tabor proceeded to score four more runs in the sixth inning to put the Bulldogs in danger of leaving the ballpark early with the run rule threatening, as they found themselves down 14-2.
McPherson managed to score just one more run in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the run rule in effect, the Bulldogs would drop this one 14-3.
Matthew Bomersback (0-2) was credited with the loss while Tabor's Judah Powell (2-1) earned his second win of the year.
