Bulldog Volleyball Looks to Make Another Deep Tournament Run in 2026

| By:
McPherson, Kan. - The McPherson College Volleyball team is looking to make another deep tournament run in 2026 under eighth-year head coach Cory Cahill.

The Bulldogs made their first-ever appearance in the NAIA Quarterfinals last season, finishing with a 34-3 overall record while going a perfect 13-0 in KCAC play. Cahill and the Bulldogs are looking to three-peat as KCAC champions this season.

McPherson graduated their top two leaders in kills, outside hitter Brooke McHale and opposite hitter Katie Warden, who had 375 and 372 kills last season, respectively.

However, the Bulldogs return middle blocker Enya Fierens who had 326 kills last year and led the team with 108.0 blocks (32 solo, 76 assisted). They also return setter Roxana Varela Parra who recorded 1,079 assists last season.

"I couldn't be more excited for the upcoming fall," says Cahill. "With so much leadership and experience returning mixed with a talented group of newcomers, we should be in for an exciting ride."

McPherson opens their 2026 campaign at the Sioux City Tournament in Iowa, where they play Corban University (Ore.) on Friday, August 21 at 2:00 p.m.

The Bulldogs' home opener is Thursday, September 3 against Doane University at 7:00 p.m. and KCAC play begins on Wednesday, September 23 when McPherson travels to Sterling College for a 7:00 p.m. match.

Season passes and single-game tickets are available for purchase at macbulldogs.com. All home games will be available to stream on urbanedgenetwork.net.

Also, be sure to look out for the KCAC virtual media day interview with head coach Cory Cahill on all social media platforms.
