McPherson, Kansas – McPherson College hosted Hesston College at home for their first game under the lights at Brubaker Family Stadium in 2026. The Bulldogs came into this contest fresh off of an 8-0 victory on the road in their season-opener over Spurgeon College in Kansas City, Missouri.

How it Happened
The Bulldogs hosted their first home match of the year and did not disappoint in front of a phenomenal crowd at Brubaker Family Stadium.
In the early stages,
Arianna Diaz struck first for the Bulldogs as she found the left corner of the net off the assist of
Alexis Lutz to take an early 1-0 lead over the Larks in the 8
th minute of the match. McPherson played exceptional on defense, not allowing a single shot towards sophomore goalkeeper
Emily Singletary.
The Bulldogs added onto their lead shortly into the second half as Diaz found her second of the match in the 56
th minute. After the ball rattled around in the box, Diaz sank her shot into the lower corner to extend McPherson's lead to 2-0.
In the 71
st minute,
Gracie Speltz grew the Bulldogs' lead off the assist of
Alexis Lutz. Off the great pass to the far side from Lutz, Speltz drilled her shot with no doubt into the net for the 3-0 advantage.
After the final whistle, the Bulldogs walked off Paul Family Field with the 3-0 victory, their second win of the season.
