Competitions
- USA College Clay Target League’s fall season consists of six weekly competitions from mid-September through October. Practice for the spring season begins in February with competitions being held weekly through April.
- The ACUI provides competition opportunities throughout the Midwest including the spring Collegiate Clay Target championships at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.
- The SCTP provides the opportunity for state and regional competitions with a fall College Nationals championships at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, OH.
Scholarships
McPherson College offers merit scholarships up to
$15,000 based on your GPA/ACT scores. Students participating in Shotgun Sports are also eligible for an
additional sport specific scholarship award determined by the Head Coach.
We also offer students the opportunity to graduate with little to no debt through our Student Debt Project. The program provides financial literacy, mentorship and matches a percentage of every dollar students contribute to their education.
About the Team
McPherson College Shotgun Sports is a varsity level co-ed team. Scholarships are available. Athletes must satisfy McPherson College admission requirements and will be expected to adhere to the contents of the Athletic Department Handbook available at macbulldogs.com and the USA College Clay Target League’s Policy & Procedures available at
usacollegeclaytarget.com.
Student-athletes will be able to easily transfer their affiliation and profile with the USA High School Clay Target League to our team at the collegiate level.
