Coach Knight is in his second year as the defensive coordinator for the Bulldog football program. A former linebacker for the University of Central Missouri, Coach Knight got his start in coaching as the quarterbacks and defensive line coach at his alma mater in 2013. After a two year stint with the Mules, Coach Knight spent the next two seasons as the linebackers coach at Saint Francis University (Pennsylvania), a NCAA Division I program. During his time with the Red Flash, the football program had their winningest two year stretch in program history, and in 2016, reached the playoffs for the first time.
In 2017, Coach Knight was the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for the Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcats in their inaugural season, and in 2018 he coached linebackers at Missouri University Science and Technology, an NCAA Division II program.
Coach Knight married his wife Jessica, an ICU nurse, in 2014 and they currently reside in McPherson.
