2010 – Honorable Mention All-KCAC

2010 (Junior): Played in all 11 games … split time as starting defensive tackle … finished season with 16 tackles, six tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks … tallied three tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack in McPherson debut on Sept. 4 against Haskell … tied a career-high with three tackles against Friends University (Sept. 11), Bethel College (Nov. 6) and McKendree University (Nov. 20)

2008-09 (Scottsdale CC): Played two seasons … coached by Doug Madowski

High School: Earned four varsity letters at St. Patrick-St. Vincent high School … also participated in wrestling.

Personal: Thomsen is the son of Derek and Vicki Thomsen … born Jan. 19, 1985 … majoring in environmental science.
