T.J. Grant enters his first season as a student assistant coach for the Bulldogs after completing his playing eligibility last year. Grant is working to complete his degree in Communications.
As a player, T.J. earned All-KCAC Honorable Mention status both his junior and senior seasons. T.J. set a McPherson College record for career free throw percentage connecting on 81.3% of his charity tosses during his two years. Grant also was productive in the assist department passing out 153 assists his senior year; good for second best all-time.
“I am pleased T.J. will be on our staff this year,” remarked head coach Tim Swartzendruber. “T.J. brings an intensity and commitment to playing the game and is outstanding in individual instruction. But above all else we are pleased he returned to finish his degree. He is a great young man.”
