T.J. Eskildsen

TJ Eskildsen will be entering his seventh season as the Head Coach for the Men’s Basketball program at McPherson College. Eskildsen previously served as Assistant Coach for nine seasons. In his time as the Head Coach, Eskildsen’s teams have finished in the top half of the KCAC four out of six seasons. The Bulldogs enter the 2025-2026 season looking to continue an upward trajectory in the KCAC.

Coaching Highlights
Eskildsen took over a Bulldog program in 2019-2020 that had not finished over .500 since the 2011-2012 season. In his first season as Head Coach the Bulldogs finished 21-11 and in a tie for fourth place in the KCAC. This was a nine game win improvement over the previous season and also the highest finish in the KCAC since the 2011-2012 season.

Over his six years as Head Coach, Eskildsen has recruited 13 ALL KCAC performers including the 2023-2024 KCAC newcomer of the Year Collin Storr. As an Assistant Coach at McPherson College, Eskildsen was a part of three NAIA Division II National Tournament teams including the 2011-2012 McPherson College KCAC regular season and tournament Champion as well as National Tournament Semifinalist.
