McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College men’s tennis team enters postseason play riding a three-match win streak, as the No. 2 seeded Bulldogs travel to Salina, Kan. for the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.

McPherson enters the tournament with a 6-4 overall record and 5-1 mark in KCAC play. The Bulldogs lone loss of the year came against Bethany College. The Bulldogs will face No. 3 seed Friends University at 9 a.m. Friday, May 6 at Oakdale Park in Salina, Kan.

In their first meeting with Friends, McPherson battled back to win five single points after dropping 2-of-3 doubles matches en route to the 6-3 victory.

If the Bulldogs win the morning contest, they will compete for the conference’s automatic bid to the NAIA national tournament against the winner of No. 1 Bethany College and No. 4 Tabor College. That match will be played immediately following the semifinal round.
