St. Louis, Mo. – The McPherson College men's tennis team lost a 7-2 match to NCAA D-II University of Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday; Mac only pulled off wins at No. 3 and No. 6 singles.
The doubles matches went the way of UMSL as they allowed just nine points; the duo of Fajula Rodriguez/Lahlou were the closest as they fell 8-4.
In singles, Ahmed Lahlou took his match at No. 3 6-3, 7-5. At No. 6 singles, Jose Maria Carrillo Reina didn't lose a point, winning 6-0, 6-0. The other matches went the way of the Tritons with Mac getting as close as 6-2, 7-5 at No. 5 by Jaime Roman.
MC's next match is slated against NCAA D-III Fontbonne University on March 16th.
