McPherson, Kan. – The McPherson College men's tennis team posted another shutout on Wednesday as they took down Tabor College 9-0 in McPherson; it was the second-straight sweep and fifth for the KCAC season for MC.
The Bulldogs walked through doubles starting with an 8-0 shutout at No. 3 doubles from Ahmed Lahlou and Hugo Ball-Greene. The freshmen duo of Timo Hoelzmann and Kurt Burton took down their opponents 8-1 at the No. 2 position. The top doubles point was the last to go and Joan-Marc Fajula Rodriguez and Hector Carrillo Perales defeated the ITA No. 10 ranked team in the region, 8-4.
Leading 3-0, Mac needed just two points and got those from No. 5 Juan Alejandro Jimenez and No. 6 Hoelzmann with wins of 6-1, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-1, respectively. The other singles positions went relatively smooth aside from the No. 1 spot; Fajula Rodriguez had a tough battle with the ITA's No. 15 ranked player in the region but fought through and won 6-2, 3-6, 10-7.

McPherson will fight No. 21 Bethany College on Saturday the 23rd for the KCAC Regular Season crown; start time for the match at McPherson High School is currently 12:00 p.m. (CT) but may shift if the weather changes.
