Salina, Kan. – It was another breezy day for the McPherson College men's tennis team, both literately and figuratively, as they defeated RV Kansas Wesleyan University 8-1 on a windy Saturday afternoon.
Mac won two of the three points in doubles with the combo of Hugo Ball-Greene and Leandro Neix being the lone team to stumble, losing 8-4. Ahmed Lahlou and Timo Hoelzmann won their point 8-3 at the No. 3 position while Joan-Marc Fajula Rodriguez and Hector Carrillo Perales dispatched their opponents 8-6 at the top spot.
In singles, it was a McPherson sweep with none of the positions losing a set. Lahlou wins the crown for least games lost, defeating No. 2 from Kansas Wesleyan 6-0, 6-1. Fajula Rodriguez won the match clinching point with his 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles. Hoelzmann and Carrillo Perales both won their respective matches 6-1, 6-2.

The Bulldogs will take on KCAC newcomer, Oklahoma Wesleyan University at the McPherson High School tennis courts this coming Monday, April 11 starting at 3:00 p.m. (CT)
