McPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson College men's tennis team defeated the Friends University Falcons handily Saturday (Apr. 1) at the Bulldog Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs got off to a hot start, grabbing the doubles point behind a pair of 6-1 victories by Brouwer/Murphy and Marcano/Schmidt.
Oscar Brouwer got singles going with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Christian Martin, and Daniel Marcano followed with a 6-0, 6-2 win to make it 3-0 Bulldogs. Michael Beltran sealed the victory with a 6-2, 6-0 victory in #1 singles.
