McPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson College Bulldogs took down the Ottawa University Braves 5-2 Thursday (Apr. 20) on Senior Night at the Bulldog Tennis Center to remain perfect in KCAC play.
Oscar Brouwer and Celien Botlan put the Bulldogs up one for the doubles point with a 6-3 win, but the Braves answered with a 6-2 victory in #3 doubles. Martin Millos and Michael Beltran secured the doubles point with a 6-3 win.
Beltran kept rolling in singles, making quick work of Santiago Tartaglia (6-2, 6-1), but the Braves again answered with a pair of wins over Marcus Nardy and Daniel Marcano. From there, it was all Bulldogs as Brouwer, Botlan and Arthur Nardy all won to give the Bulldogs the overall victory.
