TOPEKA, Kan. — The McPherson College Bulldogs advanced to the KCAC Championship match following a 4-0 win Friday (Apr. 28) over the Bethel College Threshers in Topeka, Kan.
The Bulldogs won the doubles point behind a pair of 6-4, 6-4 wins by Trey Murphy and Oscar Brouwer, and Celien Botlan and Daniel Marcano.
Michael Beltran kept it going, knocking off Milan Bucek 6-0, 6-3, avenging his lone conference loss in singles.
Arthur Nardy made it a 3-0 Bulldog lead with a convincing 6-3, 6-2 win, then Celien Botlan wrapped up the match with a 7-5, 6-4 victory to send the Bulldogs to the championship.
