 MOUNT BERRY, Ga. — The doubles team of Taimi Nashiku and Camila Sanchez have received an at-large bid to the ITA Cup, beginning Thursday (Oct. 10) in Mount Berry, Ga.

This marks the second consecutive year that this duo has qualified for the ITA Cup, and they will open the season as a Top 16 doubles pairing in the nation.

"I'm excited to see how we compete with some of the best teams in the nation," head coach Keiran President said. "The fact that this pairing is back for their second consecutive year says that that they have the potential to do big things together."

Nashiku and Sanchez will square off against a familiar foe in the opening round as they take on Isid Hernandez and Justine Lespes from Georgia Gwinnett.

With this qualification, McPherson College has now sent at least one athlete or pairing to the ITA Cup in each of the last 11 years.

"We're happy to be back here with our Bulldogs for my third year in a row," President said. "This speaks volumes when it comes to our history as a program, and we hope to continue this tradition."

The pairing will open competition Thursday (Oct. 10) at 5:00 p.m. in Mount Berry, Ga.
