McPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson College Bulldogs picked up their fifth sweep of the season Saturday (Mar. 23), winning 7-0 over the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles at the Bulldog Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs got off to a very quick start, winning the doubles point with a 6-0 sweep by Schmidt/Delgadillo and a 6-1 win on court one by Brouwer/Marcano.
Daniel Marcano struck first in the singles competition, sweeping both sets over Preston Callahan, then Marcus Nardy knocked off Eloi Riva 6-0, 6-4 in the top singles spot.
Simon Delgadillo matched Marcano with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Matt Grimm, then Arthur Nardy finished off the match with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Clement Martin-Dardaine.
The Bulldogs are back in action Thursday (Mar. 28) when they host Tabor College starting at 3:00 p.m.
