Box Score McPherson, Kan – On Wednesday night, McPherson trailed down to Bethel College for a KCAC matchup with the Threshers as both teams slowly approach the end of their regular season. McPherson had suffered two losses to nationally ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan and Ottawa the previous week, while Bethel had rounded out their week with a 1-1 draw with Bethany and a 3-2 victory over Avila.

How it Happened
The Bulldogs outshot Bethel 19-11 in this matchup, but were unable to come away with the decider through 90 minutes of action. The Threshers broke the initial drought in the 21
st minute as Gabriel Okita scored off the assist of Aden Braggs for the 1-0 advantage in the first half.
Nathan Van Wyck would level the match at 1-1 in the 32
nd minute, scoring his ninth goal of the 2025 season. Freshman goalkeeper
Mauro Soria compiled two saves facing five total shots from the Threshers in the first half as the two teams went into the halftime break tied at 1-1.
McPherson took 10 shots in the second half, finding a goal in the 66
th minute of play once again off the leg of Van Wyck. This goal, however, was to equalize Braggs' go-ahead goal following the break in the 52
nd minute, which kept the teams level at 2-2 following McPherson's goal. Soria racked up four more saves in the half to keep the Bulldogs in contention to take the advantage for the remainder of the match, but neither side was able to take the lead as the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
