McPHERSON, Kan. — After a great showing in the Kansas Wesleyan Invitational, Kobe Brown has been named the KCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this year.
The senior out of Texas claimed the gold in the 200 meter event as he finished with a time of 21.20, beating out teammate
Rinaldo Moore by just one-tenth of a second to claim the top prize. Brown was also a big part of the team's second place finish in the Men's 4x100 relay race.
"Kobe earning his second KCAC athlete of the week award is a great achievement," coach
Tracy Jex said. "It shows that his hard work is paying off in big ways. He is putting his name out there as someone that will not just be scorer at the conference meet, but someone that has the potential to possibly win some titles."
