McPherson, Kan. – It's a rare occasion when a tennis match is moved from indoors to outside in February but that's the case for the Bulldog tennis matches that are scheduled for Saturday, February 22; the Mac men will square off with NCAA D-II Emporia State University while the women face Stephens College of Missouri with both matches being played at the McPherson High School tennis courts in McPherson starting at 12:30 p.m. (CT)
Bulldog tennis is currently 2-0 on the year with victories over Baker University and Hastings College by a combined score of 14-4. Six McPherson athletes are undefeated in singles action while just the duo of Rafael Bulnes and Joan-Marc Fajula Rodriguez, who play the number one slot, are unbeaten thus far through the season.
The women's tennis team at MC is 1-1, defeating Hastings College last weekend 9-0 but dropping a 5-4 contest to Baker University to kick off the season.
