North Newton, Kan. – The MC women's tennis team took down last year's conference runner-up Bethel College 9-0 on Saturday in North Newton, Kansas; this was the third-straight 9-0 sweep for Mac. The victory puts the Lady 'Dogs at 6-0 in the conference with just two matches to play in the regular season
Doubles went about as smooth as could be expected. The teams gave up a combined 10 points with the No. 3 duo of Nikki Thornburg and Nadine Baquiran winning 8-2 to lead the charge.
The match was never in doubt as the Lady Bulldogs won every set of singles. Nikki Vorhees dispatched Bethel's No. 1 player to put the match to bed, 6-3, 6-3. Both Deiah Curtis and Madison Hoffman won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively. No.2 Lea Striegel and No. 3 Thornburg won while only allowing one game to their opponents.

McPherson has two more home matches until they can claim the KCAC regular season title; they begin the week hosting Tabor College on Wednesday the 20th starting at 3:00 p.m. (CT)
