HAYS, Kan. – The McPherson College women's track and field team had a solid showing at the Alex Francis Classic.
In the discus,
Cara Shultz notched a seventh-place finish after recording a mark of 41.08m. Rookie
Kara Alexander took 12
th after an effort of 28.80m. The two went 13
th-14
th in the hammer throw. Shultz was 13
th after hitting 3.24m while Alexander was right behind her with a mark of 35.18m.
Zoe Jerke accounted for a fifth-place finish in the javelin after recording a mark of 27.79m.
The Bulldogs return to action May 1-2 at the KCAC Outdoor Championships hosted by Kansas Wesleyan.
