WICHITA, Kan. – The McPherson College women's track and field team had student-athletes compete in a pair of events at the Friends Spring Open, which wrapped up Friday evening.
Rookie
Stephanie Schmidt and junior
Alexis Wolfe finished 11
th and 12
th, respectively, in the javelin. Schmidt accounted for her finish with an effort of 25.39m while Wolfe's distance of 24.72m earned her a 12
th-place mark. In the 1,500m,
Johanna Walker recorded a top-20 finish by placing 17
th. The sophomore crossed the finish line in 6:44.77.
The Bulldogs return to action Apr. 11-12 at the KT Woodman meet, which will be held in Wichita, Kan.
