McPHERSON, Kan. — The Bulldogs will look to continue the success they've had in the 2024-25 season in the KCAC tournament in Lindsborg, Kan.
"Although something of a Cliché, this postseason tournament really is a fresh start, a new opportunity for each of the conference's teams to earn a trip to nationals," interim head coach
Craig Holman said. "Our approach is not to defend our successes of the past, rather to attack each tournament match with vigor, with the smart, aggressive tennis, for which we are known."
The Bulldogs enter the contest not only as the defending champions of the tournament, but as the now winners of two straight regular season titles. MC finished the year with an overall record of 18-7 and went a perfect 12-0 in KCAC play as they enter this years event as the number one seed.
First up for the Bulldogs will be the tournament's host team as they will face off with eight seeded Bethany College tomorrow, April 24 starting at 2:00 p.m. In the regular season match, the Bulldogs swept the Swedes 7-0.
If victorious, the Bulldogs will face off with either the fourth seeded Ottawa Braves or the fifth seeded Saint Mary Spires in the semifinals. The Bulldogs also collected sweep victories against both teams in their regular season matchups.
