Craig Holman ’79: Holman was an outstanding tennis player at McPherson College. In his four years, he won the conference singles title three times and was three-time District 10 singles champion. He was also selected to the all-conference team all four years of college. He competed in the NAIA national championships, and holds a career record of 67-15 with wins over competitors from Emporia State, Washburn, Baker, Fort Hays State, Kansas State University, and the University of Nebraska. He is currently involved in tennis as the director of the McPherson Youth Tennis Academy.

Holman is a senior financial advisor for American Express Financial Advisors. He also serves on the McPherson Industrial Development Corporation, the McPherson Main Street Organization, the McPherson Public Library Board, the South Central Kansas Economic Development District, and the McPherson United Way. He has also served as a board member of the Cedars and on the All School’s Day committee.
