George Keim ’54: Named an “All-American” football player at McPherson College in 1952 and 1953, George Keim was also named all-conference all four years of his college playing career, and during the 1952 season, he was named co-captain of the Kansas Conference championship team. Keim was also a letterman in track for two years. After graduation, he continued to serve another five years as assistant coach in McPherson College football, basketball, and track.

Keim then traveled to Bridgewater College where he served as head football coach and dean of men from 1960-65. Following that, he held coaching, counseling, and administrative positions in public high schools in Fairfax County, Virginia. He has remained active in his local Rotary Club where he also served as president, and been involved with the Boy Scouts, Red Cross, and Fairfax County Crime Solvers. Keim has also been president of the North Virginia Athletic Directors and Coaches Administrators.
